The new year started with an inspiring hiking tour.
I did a watercolour painting/sketch of the "Vierbrüderbaum" (Four Brothers Tree).
This gigantic tree was born in 980 and started developping four trunks.
Struck by lightning in 1972 the tree could be saved, but lost two of its trunks/brothers.

My sketch book is definitely too small for capturing such huge trees in their full glory.
