Fragments of a Dream

I have been busy for a while now with drawing a detail of Castle Neuschwanstein with different media (I used graphite and colourd pencils, pastel, fineliners).

Finally, it is finished.

Here are two variations of the same picture.

The first painting/drawing was done with watercolours and fineliners.

For the second piece I used wax crayons, pastels and a waterbrush filled with ink.
 

Conclusion: I definitely feel more comfortable with watercolours.

Best way of looking at it: shortsighted people should take their glasses off. ;)
